I understand that there is a difference in the linkages between the V8 and 6-cyl for the auto 'box but is there any difference in the column itself?
I am looking at changing out the floor shift (powerglide on a 307) to a column shift.
Thanks in advance

Did that conversion once and had no problems, so I'd say the same.

I believe they are the same too. Hopefully you have the V8 powerglide linkages, not a really easy thing to find. You'll find them on HT 307 auto as well, and from memory most of the 253/308 powerglide linkages are the same too. |

Definitely the same. Only one part no for auto column. The handbrake bracket is probably the hardest part to find for the conversion.

Many thanks. Indeed the handbrake bracket seems to be the biggest challenge.
