What is strange about it? Same as my Pagewood GTS327, mine is earlier than this though (2-H5). The Shannons one would be less than 15-H5 i’d guess

Just found it at Shannon’s. I was close, it is 16-H5. Was sold local to me in Lake Macquarie.

yeah no 16,so yours is stamped from the front as well, I wonder what number they stamped it up to like this, I suppose it shows the process that the car went through, must of been issued with the plates with second half of number and then model of car stamped next..

All GMH product from that era had the PSN already stamped on the VIN plate, and the rest went on later. On a HK at Pagewood the VIN tag went on right at the end of the Assembly plant, and were just taken out of a box. As early Pagewood GTS327’s we’re not assembled during normal production it appears that no one was there to stamp the start of the VIN so it was done like that.
