Just thought it wouldn’t hurt to put up this post in case anyone now isolated that is a member here is doing OK?
Might help if you are feeling isolated or alone just start posting here and I’m sure you’ll get a reply quickly. I have been checking the site many times a day banning scam new members, so I will see any post quickly.
I might even start posting some Holden Trivia questions, if you see this Dr Terry stick a few up too. Might help get people’s mind off other things for a while.
Stay safe everyone, stay in virtual contact with people if you can. I think Australia may well be a very different place after this is over, hopefully a better and kinder Australia. |

Thank you for this post. The self isolation protocols means i personally have unlimited, guilt free shed time. Have the grass cutting under control, and a clean house. In the evenings I have a fire outside and have a drink and chat with a mate, one at a time, this stops all of us getting cabin fever. An observation is that this crisis has certainly bought out the best and worst in human nature. I hope there is a silver lining in this black cloud, don’t know what it is, but I hope we emerge a better society.

Well it feels like I have been in lock down for a year!! I leave the property about once a week to get food, alcohol and stuff from Supercheap. Spending a shirtload of time watching panel repair tutorials then going down to the shed and practicing on my projects. Currently I am chopping and channeling a HQ Tonner cab. If I knew how to post a photo I would. (I am not on any social media) My welding skills are definitely improving and I am buying more stuff on EBay than ever before, haha.
Stay safe and sane.

I wish I had more time to spend in the shed, too busy at the moment doing paid work. Working from home hasn't slowed down the amount of work! |

I'm having a great time. Chivied the missus into cleaning out a hall cupboard. One down, three to go. Today, cleaned out the corner of the garage. No long lost Holden parts showed up. Bugger. Petrol is cheap so I've filled every jerry can and a 44. And I've been building models like crazy. |
