Anyone on here know of he two owner HK 327 listed atm with Grays Online Auction, its a original Wollongong (Dwyers) sold from new car great looking survivor with 57,000 miles hard to believe these cars are still out there , the original HQ 350 sedan also up for auction that is on current cover of Unique Cars , the late Greg Thackeray's car that he started restoring saw it in various stages at his workshop before his untimely passing, be interesting to see what they both go for.

Nice one. Trouble is that car is worth more than almost any other GMH product, and I bet it sells for less than people pay for stuff like A9X’s. |

This car was auctioned on Grays a few months ago. Think it got to $267,000 or something like that and the owner knocked it back "Reserve not met". Trouble with Grays and these type of cars is that its all B.S. The high bids are fake, my mate put his 327 up, supposedly got a high bid of 240K, accepted it but then Grays fudged around "and couldn't get the buyer to respond". Sure.

A mate bought a manual XW8 HQ exactly the same in Adelaide off an old guy for $4500 The original owner advertised it in the local paper as 'HQ sedan V8' and my mate couldnt believe his luck. A couple of years later he sold it for $7000 and it ended up in Darwin in the mid 1990's I wonder if its the same car. https://www.graysonline.com/lot/0001-50006044/classic-cars/1973-holden-monaro-hq-gts-factory-350-4-speed?spr=true

Sold $286,409. Greys auctions have a ten minute period at the end where the auction appears to have ended but bids are still possible, someone threw in a cheeky $200. Plus buyers premium too l expect. |
