Ordered a new dizzy cap and rotor from my local parts dealer last week and when I went to pick up I was told to sit down. The last rotor I bought was $17.50 this one was $66.00. The cap prices were the same. My parts dealer, who I trust, said he was told from his supplier Bosch no longer are making these old parts and the only way he got one was from a dealer who obviously knew how "to rape peoples pocket". Went online to rare spares and after ordering a couple of spares "just in case" got a phone call shortly afterwards to say caps are on back order and no time advice on when available. Are we starting to see the real hurt from Holden/Ford disappearing as far as servicing our older cars as the parts suppliers no longer have the orders to fill

Sorry, Cap and rotor for a 308 blue motor with the small cap. Same cap is used on red 308 and some ford v8.

Been checking online sales for cap and button. Cap GB926 is on most sites for sale between $36.00 and $80.00. most sites didn't offer a rotor to suit, very few sites have the GB786 rotor. If Autobarn's one is like the picture I wouldn't put it in my car. I've got a couple of caps on back order from rares so didn't check availability on these sites. I love living in the bush but sometimes it's a bugger getting parts.
