Rear end sorted. Got the brakes sorted after a stuff up with the shortening. I needed to make a jig to redrill the backing plates. I came up with a plan about 3am last night when my brain refused to sleep.
Mono leaf split spring and traction bars sorted. Bolted straight on. Shocks will need a spacer bush to clear the lower mount. Nothing too big to keep me awake.
Now onto the front caliper mounts.

Front brakes sorted now. I will need to have a new adaptor plate made. This one locates the caliper too high and it fouls on the upper control arm on full lock. I managed to modify a stock VT caliper mount to fit the wider 32mm caliper. This meant the FORD ones can go back into the cupboard.
Also ran a tape across the shortened diff to confirm it is the width I wanted. I asked for 1405mm.

Radiator clearance problem sorted without having to remake and reweld the mounts. I managed to tweak the mounts enough and along with adding a 10mm spacer to the lower mount it all now fits. That's the final modification needed for the engine bay. Now there's just the usual removal of the battery tray and welding up all the unused holes. There's also a filler piece to go on the radiator support upper panel to hide the cooling fan upper mounts and blend it in with the remainder of the panel.

Mock-up firewall removed. Now to wheel this up to the shell and bolt it up. HOPEFULLY all I will need to fabricate to complete the install is a gearbox crossmember and a shortened tailshaft. Then HOPEFULLY the drivetrain is complete.
