G'day guys, have another question for the forum, Almost completed the rebuild of my red 186 but am stuck on the rocker arms.. The problem is: On one end of your rocker arm you have your push rods and then hyd lifters yes, then on the other side of the arm you have your valve springs and valve stem, Is there a torque on the rocker arm pivot nut? or is there a clearence between the valve stem and rocker arm? Maybe there just all nipped down?? The engine manual is not the best to work from, it suggests that they be tightned to 30-39 Nm which seems very excessive, don't want to bent the push rods or valve stems.. Are they tightned in and set sequence eg: Both valves open/closed or individual (TDC. They are all single units one for each port (exh/inlet) 2 for each piston. What is the danger of over tighning or having to lose.. I know it's a bit of a ask fellow, but cheers...jimbob
