Holden Rodeo was sold in Australia and New Zealand at the same time, but unlike Australia, GMNZ assembled Rodeo at Trentham plant (until 1990 when the plant was closed). Are the Australian and New Zealand versions very different in trim and mechanics? Maybe the styling was different as I guess the New Zealand version was closer to original Isuzu.

In addition, Isuzu was also sold in New Zealand simultaneously Rodeo and apparently through a own Isuzu dealers. What was it called in New Zealand? Faster, Rodeo or KB?

I had no idea that Rodeos were assembled in NZ. I'm not sure how different they would be to Aussie ones.

AFAIK ALL Australian sold Rodeos (& Jackaroos) were full imports from Isuzu Japan.

On that basis it could be argued that the Aussie ones are closer to original Isuzu spec.
