Model number 3214 denotes a XK Falcon Deluxe sedan with a 170ci engine & Fordomatic transmission

The 1AA paint number I'm not sure so sure about

1 = Raven Black while A = Merino White, so maybe it was painted black with white roof & white side flash.

Trim 13 = Metallic Light Green vinyl with Medium Green Body Cloth inserts.

The body number makes it the 1377th 3214 model to be built.

R = RHD

Thanks Dr Terry
Helps out heaps
She’s a beauty black roof with white body
Bought as a 3 speed and came with a 170 XM plated engine

One other question is, on the model ID plate which is 3214 looks like it’s been restamped in the 60’s
Looks like it was 321Z not as it reads now 3214

If you're uncertain about the final digit in the model number, 3213 is a Deluxe sedan with 170ci & 3-sp manual.

Is it worth restoring a ford engine? I found a used and engine store, maybe you’re on the lookout for a ford engine here https://orbimotors.com/

It all depends on how much you want to 'invest' in the car, is it worth 'saving'? Is it a good original car ?

A properly rebuilt engine will always be a better bet than a used engine that may be 50-60 years old.

The better the quality of the work & the more authentic the car is kept, the more it will be worth in the long term.

Join a car club, talk to other like-minded owners who have been thru the process.
