I am going to fit twin davies craig thermo fans on my car. Can i just use one relay for both fans?

You can but you are best to use two for a couple of reasons. Firstly those fans can draw a lot of current on startup which can be hard on the relay contact points. Secondly if you run two relays and one fails you don't lose all of your fan capacity in one |

Also, single relay means that you either have both on or both off.
I found with 400SBC that the cooling requirements varied based on ambient, speed etc. Had manual switches and relays for each.
Open road = no fans. Cool day around town, 1 fan. Coo |

I also have the temperature switch on the bottom radiator hose so that the fans only come on when hot water LEAVES the radiator this way the fans theoretically should not come on when cruising down the highway.

Another question for thermo fans - which brand? Calibre (supercheap), Davies Craig or Repco.

Consider fittiing ef falcon or au falcon thermos instead!

I agree with itsmint. Twin AU falcon thermo fans are the go. I have them fitted to my HZ 355stroker and never ever have cooling problems even on 40 degree days. They are much better than Davies Craig and a hell of a lot cheaper
