Hi, I’m gonna start to transplant the running gear from a WH Statesman into my WB ute. I’d like to fit rear sub frame/ front brakes/ABS and dash to enable use of WH cruise control, air con and electrics/ECM ect. Has anyone on here done anything similar?

Talk to an Engineer before you even think about it. A WB ute is a leaf sprung commercial vehicle and you are talking about fitting a passenger rear end to it plus upgraded brakes. It'll need proper stability and braking tests at least. It is a very different body and chassis arrangement to VT/WH onwards body and may not even be suitable for an independent rear end.

Probably far easier to try and fit VQ-VS Statesman stuff through it, far easier to fit and make work. Or buy a VU ute and put all the WH stuff in it, far easier to do and you'll save probably at least $7500 or more in Engineering.
