VN/VPs option codes included manual gearbox MG0 only for export with 2.0 Family II. Is it a Borg Warner or Opel thing? Did VP really get 2.0 (LY0) before 2.6? I thought export VPs had Opel 2.6, not Family II.

The MG0 gearbox was a Getrag R25 5-sp.
AFAIK VP export models got either the 2.0 Family II or the 2.6 Dual Ram Opel 6-cyl depending on which country they were exported to.

Thanks. So it's same gearbox that the Opel Omega A used. Pretty reliable.
