The carby you have listed is HT not HK, and I don't think it was ever represented in that fashion on any HT either.

The 290 heads are pretty easy to find, 1000's of them fitted to cars in Australia and probably 100,000 or more in North America.

It depends upon when the car was built. The first Canadian 327's in HK had the earlier carby as fitted to the Chevrolet 327 engines in 1968 HK GTS327, it made no difference as all of the HK 81837 and HT-HG 81837 carbs are identical tune wise other than the auto carbs having the different vacuum source for the distributor. If your car was built in 1969 it almost certainly had a GMH numbered carby on it, but it won't be a ZC coded carby - not even the early HT GTS350 had these.

The 290 heads you are looking for are Tonawanda 307 or 327 for 1968 year model engines and never found on a Canadian 327. The last one of these heads fitted to any engine would have been fitted in July 1968 in the Tonawanda engine plant.
