Does anyone have a sketch or diagram or photos even of the handbrake routing & bits & pieces on HJ Tonner ?

From the parts book, this is the only image showing the cable layout.


The intermediate cable for tonners is unique. Because of different wheelbase lengths there are a couple of different intermediate cables but (99.9% sure) you need the specific tonner one for tonners. I'm guessing the front and rear cables are generic for all models, can anyone confirm this?

The rear cables are definitely different, my tonner has had homemade brackets fitted to the leaf spring front eye bolt because the rear cables aren't long enough to reach the correct brackets !

Im assuming the cables fitted to mine are sedan cables, I believe they are about 5in shorter than the tonner cables

I think the picture above is for a sedan.
The Utes and vans are slightly different. The cable hooks I have look like the ones in this picture, just a bent piece of rod.

This is the best I have. All from 2005. The cameras back then just didn't have the capacity they do now :-)

There's every chance that the ones in these photos were "best guess" by the previous owner when they put the disc brake rear axle in.

Down the rabbit hole I go !!

something seemingly as simple as the "pulley" yours rotates in towards Centre of vehicle, mine is the other way around & rotates back towards the handbrake :)

Been a long time since we had the WB Tonner but I think that plastic cam is free floating so you can position it wherever you like in relation to the cable, as long as it is free to move through the full travel of the handbrake release and engagement cycle.
