Hi All,

I would please like to ask for some assistance in identifying the stamping (In photos) I found on the sump mating face whilst cleaning up a 253 one afternoon after pulling it apart. Ive never noticed them before on any other red 253 I've pulled apart although theres a good chance I may have missed them.

Also on the opposite face across from the QR prefix there is a T9507 which appears to be done using the same punch font as the normal GMH stamping.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've had a good look and I can't dig up anything on the subject?

Thanks in advance.

GMH engines always have stampings like that along the sump faces, probably something to do with balancing. The T9507 is nothing like any GMH stamps, probably an engine builder's stamp.
