trying to put a pioneer cd player into my vc vacationer wagon and am wondering which colour wires do what. can anybody tell me please.

The radio wiring in the VC (well any VB-VH really) is crap.
Best off running a good + feed direct from the fusebox (theres spare take-offs above each fuse area). Do the same with ign+, and run a good earth lead to the metal body(like the cross brace for

i have worked it out thanks for the help, it had been dodgy wired at some stage and the standard wiring loom was not even connected it was there but had no power to it etc, as a result i completely re wired the entire system which works very well now :).

Theres not much you can do about fitting it.
VB dashes (which became VB-VL in that section) were designed for the old 2 knob radio thats a good inch shorter in depth compared to the modern units, and as a result, modern ones hang out a good inch or so a
