Wikipedia writes that NZ VT/VX had a Royale version, but I didn't find any evidence that there was Commodore Royale after VS (1997-1998).

Error or some kind of limited edition?

I believe , VH/VK/VL Royale were all GMNZ made , no VN/VP/VR , and yes it was a cancelled export order VS Royale in 1998 . I remember our local Holden dealer had a VS Royale sitting with new VTs. ( I have a VH Royale) Thanks Mark.

As far as I know, there was a NZ VN Royale as a limited edition, essentially Calais with a Vectra's engine. Then the Singapore's cancelled order 1997-1998 (VS). But I didn't find any info about VT/VX Royale.

Hi , do you have any pictures /details of the VN Royale? I can not find anything in my information. There was a limited run VN V6 GTS and it seems the Family 2 engine was only Berlina sedan and wagon ( which was really Executive spec )Thanks Mark.

As with the VB-VL series, New Zealand copped its fair share of weird versions, including the VN Commodore Royale, a Calais-spec sedan with a 2.0L Family II four-banger.

Ok, but the red VN in the street machine picture is a VN Berlina 2.0l not a Royale. Any other information ? Thanks Mark.

To be honest, I don’t remember where I read about this. There was a limited edition (12 VN sedans or so) that were sold in NZ as Commodore Royale. Maybe this was also some kind of cancelled order.
