Whoever put these pivots in at the factory must have been a legend of dexterity and patience. I just spent 40 mins trying to get one in, with a new rubber, and had to call it quits until another day. And this was from under the dash through the vent!

They are both easy to do if put in at the stage of the vehicle assembly they were done originally! Just like brake boosters.

Not sure if it was on this site but someone listed this as one of the worst jobs on cars they had worked on, and I 100% agree.

I've done several of these. If you remove the vent it's not that bad.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Everything is out of the car - no vents or stuff to get in the way. I can get the two square-on bolts in but not the third angled one. Or just the angled bolt and not the two square-on ones. I'm starting to think the new rubber piece is cut incorrectly. It has a wedge shape to it - thicker on one side than the other.
