Hi again. Need a new flexplate for my 1 Tonner. Should I just get a standard replacement or is there any advantage over buying something like a Scat one ? https://outlawspeed.com.au/shop/scfp-308-sfior is something like this ok ? https://www.rts.com.au/t...ld-zinc-holden-commodoreWhat is SFI, what is internal / external balance ? Why is nothing simple or is it me ? :)

Just buy a standard replacement. Holden V8 are internal balance. 400, 454 and others like that have external balance. There should be heaps of used flex plates around, HT through to VL should be the same. Either of those you put up should be OK. The ARP one below comes with new bolts. Just ignore the 355 bullsh!t, no such thing, they are 350ci. https://www.ebay.com.au/...D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5D-yrjiZA |
