My Dad needs to replace the brake booster on his VK commodore (early VK where 202 still with carb).

Has a PBR vh446 fitted, but he hasn't been able to track down a replacement.

Any tips on who might stock them or order one in?

All of VK 6cyl had a carby 3.3L engine except Calais was standard with EFI engine, so there should be thousands of boosters out there to buy and rebuild. Just look on Gumtree or FB. Good brake place should be able to get one for you exchange, possibly outright.

I'm going back a while, but I thought PBR just offered a changeover service for a new or reconditioned unit. But I can't find PBR anywhere, are they out of business?

If he has to get one re-build, he would just use the one in the car now.

I should have said he in is South West Sydney

PBR are long gone. They were taken over by Bosch & I believe now shut down completely.

See Burt Bros brakes at Fairfield, they can test & rebuild yours.
