Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew the paint code used on the gold Honeycomb rims as used on the HX LE coupe? I'm not sure if they were shipped painted ex-Pontiac or painted locally in a different colour. Plenty of previous discussions come up but all mention links that no longer work.
On a slightly related but different topic, the '76 Anniversary Kingswood HJ that featured Anniversary gold for paint, was that the roof gold or the body? thanks

Super old post, found my own question somehow. Incorrect info. 1976 SE Gold on Firebirds was a different formula to 1977 SE Gold on Firebirds. That doesn't say what HX used, if painted here or there, but the 76 US paint being used was more bronze. The gold mentioned above is 77+. Still good info, though. The 75 HJ with Anniversary Gold may or may not have been the same colour as the American Anniversary gold. Different formula/code for local use perhaps, these days they don't mean anything to those creating a mix anyway, just for comparing application back in the day.
