OK here's what I know.

BODY - 60 = 1960 year model
114 = Bel Air 4-door sedan
1696 = body serial number
TRIM - 640 = (exterior colours) Iris with a Dartford Grey Insert
671 = Interior trim colour(s) this one I don't know
PAINT - 585-9902 Dulux paint number for Iris
585-9901 Dulux paint number for Dartford Grey

I’ve looked into a few Aussie-built 1960 Chevrolet Bel Airs myself, and decoding the ID plate can be tricky due to GM-Holden's unique formatting. I’d recommend referencing Australian GMH paint/trim code charts from that era—forums like GMH-Torana or old workshop manuals often have decoded examples.
