Thank you both for your informative replies, and apologies for the delay. I was out in the trailer yesterday building a 110mm white PLA test badge on an Ender 3D
filament printer. From what I gather here and also at the LS1 site where I asked the same question (to be sure to be sure), the 3D model looks like quite a viable prospect for an acceptable solution.
Interesting to compare the spotlight (fog light???) positions on the VY2 and the VZ, which I hadn't bothered to notice the difference before. My one has the spotlights outside the bumper bumper (for want of a less silly description) and it's officially a 2003 model. October 2003 was the model release month, so I read somewhere. It also has the angle gauges rather than the oil and voltmeters, (which would have been more useful in a VY2 with 350,000km on the odometer). I went out to the shed and measured again with a steel ruler, and it is definitely 110mm, bearing in mind that I am measuring the grey plastic base which is part of the grille, which the lion badge inside a circle clips or glues onto. 110mm is the outer diameter of the circle
Collating all the different information from here and the 'A.I.' report posted in reply to my thread at LS1, (to be sure to be sure), it appears that the VY2 Cross-8, Adventra, and VZ Cross-6, Cross-8 and Adventra do all share the 110mm lion badge, known as "Holden Lion Grille Emblem (Large) 110mm" among other things, and this part number 92138919 & 92138920 was also used on

according to a contributor's account of 'Mr A.I.' report. I hope that the LS1 contributor will forgive me for quoting his exact words across websites, for academic purposes.
No other Holden models used the 110mm lion badge, apparently, so the answer to my question is, essentially, no. It is what it is and it isn't what it isn't. If anyone has one laying around waiting to chuck in the bin, it would be appreciated it you'd let me know and I'll send you the address and a postage stamp, but otherwise, I shall persevere with the 3d printer avenue.
