gday all got my 308 on the market as it looks like i wont have the cash to do the swap (still gotta get tranny built, zorst radiator + all the little stuff) specs are as follows:
308H3*** engine number
40 thou up
flat tops
comp ratio approx 10:1
big valves slightly below L34 spec heavily ported heads + port matched inlet manifold
megatork cam similar to crow 5651 grind
all freshly rebuilt and still in the plastic
have all the original gear for the 308H, oil filler in timing case, no cap in valve covers, correct hg sump etc.
comes with:
starter (will need a rebuild)
trimatic v8 trans out of hg (vacuum/mechanical kickdown, condition unknown but i would have it rebuilt just incase)
exhaust manifolds (hg style)
fully rebuilt rochester quaddie 4 barrel (matching no's for hg era)
new water pump
new fuel pump
alternator brackets
distributor in peices
have receipts for all work done ($4000+) and engine builder said he has built the same combo motors that are making 300 fwhp with a solid torque curve.
would suit someone that wants to keep the numbers lined up on a monaro /brougham build.
