Hello people,
Pick your brains if I could. Running a dual fuel setup in my HZ 308 pano. I like having the petrol as a backup, so I want to keep it dual fuel, but Im almost always running it on gas, just run it through with petrol every so often you know the drill. I'm looking at ways to get it running a little better on gas, as I'm pretty sure the dizzy is graphed for petrol (bought the car already converted with limited info on what was done to the engine). Previously I'd just advanced the timing a bit and made sure I didn't nail it when driving on petrol to prevent pre-detonation, but it's still pretty lacking in the HP department on gas. Things I'm looking at doing:

Getting dizzy regraphed for LPG
Getting an LPG cam
Using an octane booster in petrol so I don't blow stuff up when I run petrol through the engine. Don't know how effective that is though, could just be voodoo-juice.

If I take it easy when running on petrol, can anyone see a problem with this plan of action? I don't know how different the cam / distributor timings are with respect to gas vs petrol.

Cheers,

Anthony.
