Just watching Underbelly. Has Robert Trimboli driving around in a HZ SL/E in 1977. They've tried to disguise it with a HJ Grille. It's also got a HZ SL/E steering wheel. I only spotted it because it's a Holden. Must be other period errors. Show is excellent so far.

do you think any of the relevant local car clubs were approached to supply the cars for the show.the charger would have been a great cop car.

^^ Yes they were. We had a couple of guys at work in car clubs, who got paid to use their cars in certain scenes, mainly because they were period correct, and matched what was required. These 2 I'm talking about were only static display.

I was told

I read in the paper that the charger (cop car) from the 1st episode has been bought buy someone here in WA. Now because its been on the show does this add a bit more value to that car because its been on a "hit" tv show or you think its just bragging righ

AFAIK the cop Charger is owned by a Sydney car club member. It appears often at shows dressed in NSW cop livery.

On the subject of the show itself, didn't you find it strange when they shot the 'Les' character in his bathroom, they had 3 machine guns p
