Has any HQ lovers ever put the tri (premier/taxi)guage in? I scored one in brand new condition but its not in my hot little hands yet, so I don't know if the wireing will just plug straight in? I know there is only fuel in my kingswood, but should the factory wireing have what I need to just plug and play, and get the other two working?

Hi Scott.

The unit will physically fit, but the temp & oil light wiring will have to be modified to make the gauges work. Ive fitted a few of these units & Ive found it easier to use a T-piece adaptor to run both the oil light & oil gauge senders. An o

Thanks for the info. Im not the most brightest spark when it comes to wireing, but is it a job that could be carried out by a novice? sounds easy enough but, me + wires = fire! This T-piece you speak of... where would I find one? Autobarn,supercheap?
