Hey all.

dose anyone know how to get an oldholden from QLD to Victoria?
is there any sort of shipping to do that and if so how much?

A lot depends on whether its a runner or not and its an expensive car that needs to be transported differently to a daily driver...

what type of car are you looking to move and does it drive....

If you know any interstate truckies then you can sometimes get them put on their load or ring a car transport company. Try to find someone that you trust.

Canberra Carways are about the most cost effective car movers. The car must be able to drive on an off the trucks though.

I dropped a HQ Monaro LS off to a car carrier in Brisbane for a fellow in SA a few years ago, he had no trouble.

I did at this end, I picked it up from the seller for him and when I dropped it at the transport company they wanted the money before hand,

I just got a quote today to send a HQ wagon from the virginia (brisbane) depo of carways to vic/nsw border, the car is a runner & its gonna set me back $665 for them to deliver it. they are the cheepest the next nearest was $750. I think I might fly up &

okay thanks guys, just a few times i get a chance to buy an okay HQ sedan that suits what i am looking for and i have to turn it down because its always in another state.
