Bought a new idler arm support bracket and drag link for my HQ. Idler arm bracket is ok, just, drag link is crud. The tapered studs for the idler and arm pitman arm are undersized by about a 1/2mm, and for a friction fit tapered piece, thats shocking.
This stuff came from Repco, pretty much no-name as far as i can tell. Don't know how much it cost as i was given it new, but yeah....not impressed.
Have to be honest, this is the first time i've had a product from them that is poor, but it's also the first time i've had "no frills" product.
Anyone else found this with reproduction steering parts? |

is it power max brand? proberly. chinease made. there are still NOS draglinks avaiable. there is a bloke on ebay selling them for about $50! bargin. |

It makes no sense though. I would pay $100 for a part that fits rather than a $25 part that doesnt fit.
