hey yall, when i put the 308 in the camper, it was 5mm too long, i should have given the rear wall of engine bay, a minor bit of persuasion, anyways i ground the first part of the triple pulley off, fits nicely. what i am wondering is, might it be unbalanced now?? i can maybe fit another 3 pulley one on now? just enough room. i do want to put aircon on at some stage, after the depression is over, in 8>10years, but for now, just want to make sure the slight vibration i feel when sitting in car, is not from the shortened front pulley? your thought appreciated, cheers bcb
it was but yesterday, i thought myself a fragment, quivering without rythum in the sphere of life. now i know i am the sphere, and all of life quivers in rythmic fragments, within me! kg. |

Get hold of a 2 row pulley and see if the vibration goes away.

hey thanks byron, that is an obvious thing to do. i want to eventually replace all the pulleys with one of those single ones from the later models, it is strange the vibration? i can put a cup of coffe on the top, and there is no vibration at all, yet when sitting in luxurious merc elec seats, i can feel the vibration.??? so maybe torque converter? i am sure i will get to bottom of it. cheers bcb
