Hi, Does anyone out there know of a 1973 XU-1 produced after the 15th of August not on the much discussed and much misleading 150 list? I would very much like to contact someone who has one of these XU-1s that has most of it's original equipment. This model of course will have fine spline axles, factory fitted extractors, 27 F 3 head, T226 carbies, front harmonic ballancer pulley plate, Heavy rods similar to the later Blue motor rods, different heater hose bracket, bulges in the sump to top oil leaking and various other refinements. The previous models on the 150 list up to the 15th of August had a 16 G 3 block but not sure about the last ones.
Also just a bit of history, 250 August 1973 XU-1's were required as an evolution of type for Homoligation in 1973 not 150! mike81973
