They were near impossible to find with the plastic insert still there in 1991 when I had a ZC. I imagine that they would be a lot rarer now so your mate is in for a fairly extensive search.


One went on eBay a few months ago for several hundred.

You could probably use this as a gauge as to what to pay for a bonnet badge. Yes it's a boot badge but they lost their inserts as readily as the bonnet badges did so they are just as hard to find complete.
