Hi
I have a question relating to the Varajet Carb fitting to my 1984 VK Commodore 6 cly black motor.
The carb is flooding. I have replaced the float needle valve & seat & checked the float setting with no improvement.
Is there any way of checking the float itself for condition?

Cheers Wajama.

yes remove it and shake it to see if it has filled with fuel and sunk.

I have had this happen.

If at first you dont succeed then skydiving is not for you.

Most Varajets are like Quadrajets in that they have a synthetic moulded type float, not a hollow brass float. They last about 10 to 12 years before they become porous & then sink (very common).

I replace them at each overhaul & have no problems.

Dr Terry.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
