No, the V8 has an additional metal piece welded in to move the pivot point outwards - closer to the driver.

A 6 cyl one only has 1 pivot pin hole position. A V8 one has 2 pivot pin hole positions (obviously 1 set is not used).

The shape of the end of the pedal where the cable hooks on is also different.
