will a stock rb30 motor take 16 pound boost with decomp plates thanks heaps

you are gunna need an intercooler past about 9psi because boost temp is to high and you will get detnoation and also cook your engine. a decomped rb30 will take 16psi but your injectors wont you will run lean and melt a piston.ECU will need remaping aswell as injectors run a diferant sequence. I have just fully rebuilt an RB30 turbo, car is for sale if interested engine has done about 20km from were i drove it back unregisterd from my house to my bro inlaws house. spent heaps has race forged pistons, nitrided crank, ACL race series bearings and gaskets. engine will take 22psi saftley but headgasket may not take much more. PM me if interested i think he wants about $5000 its a 5 speed car just needs rego. reason for sale is he wants another ski boat and the wife said he cant have it all. |
