I just found out that Australia may of exported a muscle car? The Vauxhall Viva Brabham (torana) sold for 690 pounds in 1967. Or were they made in the UK and done up to spec. i wonder how many were sold.

No, its the other way around.
Jack Brabham, from his workshop in England developed the HB Brabham Viva as an aftermarket kit to be fitted for Vauxhall dealers, if the customer wanted to option his vehicle to that spec. The Vauxhall factory wasnt involved & the warranty was covered by the new car dealer & Jack.
GM-H in Australia, took advantage of this by importing the kit from Brabham in the UK & making up HB Brabham Toranas on the production line.
So, in the UK the Brabham was effectively an aftermarket add-on, but in Australia they were a factory item.
