I have a HG Kingswood Sedan, 6 cyl. All original and are looking to lower it 3 inch. What is the best way to go, cut original front springs and re-set leaf springs or go for new springs already lowered alround.

Cut front springs will ride harshly and possibly move around in the mounts, plus the shocks wont be happy. Sure, heaps of people do it, but throw a few hundred bucks at some new springs and shocks.

Rears can be re-set and will work well as far as i know.
