hi all, i have stripped my leaf springs (out of a HQ van) back to bare metel using a wire brush on a drill, i now intend on painting them

my question is, should i paint the leaves seprately then reasemble them or reasemble them then paint them?

thanks mate, i wasnt sure, i thought if i paint them first, when the springs are working the paint might rub and make the springs stick and not work properly

Nup, good coat of paint prior to assembly & theyll look a treat.
