My original engine in my EH 149 is in need of reconditioning.

Im no mechanic and would like some advise on what should be done and approp cost.

I want a fully inclusive job done and don't want to miss doing something that should be done.

Thanks

For a full recon, around $1500 is a solid ballpark. A mate was quoted that on his blue motor. Dont know specs of the rebuild but youd assume it was oversize pistons and bearings/rings/gaskets etc.
