Hi all, further to my HG/SS resto have found my temp & Oil pressure gauge is buggered, just wonering if an Instrument maker would be able to fix or will I have to source another? No luck sourcing one as yet and bet I will have to pay through the nose if I do get lucky enough to find one. Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Most instrument fitters should be able to fix it. If both have gone at the same time it might be a voltage regulator problem. (not 100% sure if the HG uses one for the guages, but the later models do)

If you can get hold of a wiring diagram check out what Warren has said or failing that take the car to an instument repairer (find someone who does classic cars) and get them to check the whole system out.
Reality is only an illusion which occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

Whats buggered about em? If you remove the wire from the senders, the guages should go right over to full scale (with ignition on of course)Try that before looking for replacement guages.
