Guys,
I am thinking of upgrading/changing the ratio of the diff in the ol ute, currently running a Salisbury 3.08 one wheeler. I was thinking of changing ratio to 3.36 or similar and LSD if possible. Can anyone tell me what are my options instead of going the 9" route. I have heard that a B/W centre out of a c/dore will fit a Salisbury housing but not sure.
I guess, what im after is something that will pretty much swap over without the need for changing tailshafts etc. Currently 350/330HP T400 setup. The 3.08 ratio was great for the trip down from up north, but not much cop around the city.
Anyway, before I go ringing around the local diff shops (who will no doubt be able to do whatever I want for mega $$$) I just thought id throw it open to you all for ideas.

Cheers Trev...

3.55 (lsd)salisbury is the cheapest best bet for this I think.
12 bolt, dana ,and 9" all cost a small fortune but then again 330 hp get a 9" (not better than dana ,12bolt just more avail))if you can afford it.just my thoughts.

VN-VSIII Borg Warner will also work, but most are 3.08 hence youd have to get it rebuilt with different gears. Will need mounts welded on and tailshaft change too, plus you end up with Commodore stud pattern and rear discs.
