Guys

Just pulled the wheels off my HK GTS327 that have been on it for over 15 years sitting in the shed, and discovered that they are not original HK-HG rims but Ford pattern. On closer inspection they appear to be the same rims that were on the Bill Bourke special, and I noticed that in the latest Unique Cars mag that the XA GT coupe on the front had them originally.
So that got me wondering, what did Ford origonally fit them to? They are 14x6 I think.

If they are ford pattern, dare i ask how they bolted up to your monaro ?.

I would be a tad unhappy if my 50K plus HK327 had been modified to take ford wheels ???? .

It had a 3.5:1 LSD XY GT 9" (reportedly a phase III diff) and the front discs are redrilled to 4.5" PCD. I discovered the stud pattern when I removed the diff to put an original diff in it and the wheels didnt fit! Also has the bigger Ford wheel studs.
It also had a heavy duty toploader in it, which has long since gone to heaven (courtesy of a tough SBC in another car!).

Aunger Hustlers are by "Aunger" not "Ford".. They are just an aftermarket mag wheel and like any aftermarket rim, it'll be (woulda been) available in a multitude of stud patterns and backspaces to suit diffrent cars.

Ford had a very similar wheel to the Hustler in the early 70's as a option the whole face was alloy but the rim itself was steel with only a tiny bit of the steel outer lip visible on the outside face.

Vandals and graffiti "artists" do everyone a favour and target parking meters and fixed speed cameras only.

Excuse the thread mine gentlemen
The Ford Sports Road Wheel was an option wheel made by ROH Australia
This was available as an option on Fords till the end of the XB range
They were 14x6 and I have a restroed set on my ZF Fairlane

Hope this helps
