It seems there is chrome hubcaps and s/steel hubcaps ? is this a where the car was built or a time of build thing , most seem to be s/ steel that I have seen ??? . Mark.

Hi Mark,
As far as I was aware, all of them were chrome, but the Statesman (both custom and de Ville) had the stainless steel disc in the middle, which was just riveted on to standard HQ hub caps.
