(This is my first post and I am a girl so please please be nice to me LMAO)

I bought a 2nd hand 1998 Vt Berlina. Only 170,00kms on the clock and all seemed well until the silly thing decided sometimes she didn't want to start. Easy fix new battery but thats when the real fun started. Low idle under 1000rpm and pretty rough, engine management light comes on during idle (not always though) after a surge in revs and a funny hissing noise on acceleration. Could a worn fan belt be contributing to any of these issues? Also what kind of fuel consumption are you guys getting? Mine seems to have dropped since the battery was replaced which is a bugger when you have to drive around for work.

Now I know you guys can't fix these issues for me and can only offer suggestions and that my little girl needs a Dr but being a girl I am scared of being taken advantage of which has happened in the past. So where would you recommend taking her to get her puter looked at?
