Hi guys, need some quick answers as my son's VN cuts out when driving and idling. Ive heard of this before on our forum so any suggestions would help. Parts already/ previous replaced- crank angle sensor/ harmonic balancer, all coil packs, fuel filter.

Did you replace the DFI module under the coils? It can fail with heat.

Another thing that can, and does fail is the fuel pump. If it won't re-start straight away, listen for the pump, and if you don't hear it, thump the tank to "jump start" it while cranking.

Cheers,

Mick
