Hi Jim, cheapest couriers I have ever used are
https://www.e-go.com.au/home.do
most often the door to door service (most expensive) is still cheaper than Aussie Post

Greetings, Just remember that if you want good and cheap then it will not be as fast as Aussie Post. Good/Cheap/Fast - you can pick any two but you can't have all three.

Wow those guys are pretty good as far as rates go. How reliable are they?

The cheapest I've used are Fastway for interstate stuff, but they are only good for 5 - 25 kg, so depending on the parts they might not be appropriate.

The Blue Light - I have had heaps of stuff moved with them and no problems as of yet! and usually they are as quick or quicker than Aussie Post, they quoted two days for a tailgate from Melbourne to Adelaide and it arrived the next day, I have been nothing but happy with them so far!
