Hey I know it's a whole lot of hassle getting to these speakers but what's the best method? I took all the front of the dash off before but I didn't seem to get any closer. Anyone got any tips or an easy way?

Heya there just std 4" speakers problem i found with my vl when i replaced them is newer speakers are deeper and right under the holes is the air con ducting so it dosen't leave you much room i found panassonics fitted the best as for removal theres 2 sc

When i had my VL.i found poineer 4 inch speaker fitted well also.To get the screws undeer the front window. i used a small phillips head that you would put in a drill. i used a 1/4 drive socket and ratchet as i couldnt move the screws with anything else.
