Does anyone know if VE sdn springs fit a VE Ute & if it is possible to chop a few coils off
to lower a bit

According to the King Springs catalogue, the only difference is the ute ones are classed as heavy duty and the same as the sportwagon. I know with the VY ute, the station wagon ones are identical as I've been down this road trying to lower mine. The king spring lows I had on it were too low and I went for FE2. I don't know whether you can chop the springs as I'm not sure what they look like. All I know is that you can't legally cut them.
