I�ve just purchased a second hand Banjo V8 Centre (Open Centre) and noticed reasonable wear on the Spider Gears. When rotating the Spiders Gears with fingers they seem to spin in a notchy way (not smooth)if that�s the best way to describe it. The Crown Wheel and Pinion spin freely.
Is this normal?
