Im working on my resto of my 64 eh prem and am considering rebox reconditioning, and whether to use original hydrmatic or try and fit a trimatic.

fit the trimatic unless its totally original..

Yeah go the trimatic. It doesn't effect concessional licenceing either!

Just my 2 cents worth- is it possible to fit the 4 speed auto from the VL into an EH? Overdrive on the hiway would make for easy crusing.
Otherwise, go the Trimatic.
